Welfare

As with all sports at Cambridge, Welfare is very important to CUB. We strive to maintain a safe and healthy environment and a positive club culture, not only for our members, but also for other people and oranisations that are affected by the activities of the club.

The club has two welfare officers. The purpose of the welfare officers is to serve as an initial contact point for members of the club with concerns. They provide a confidential service in listening to matters of concern to members, and signposting them to serivces that may be of use to them, within the University and without.

The welfare officers also maintain the welfare policies of the club and advise the committee on matters of welfare and to develop appropriate codes of conduct. For a full list of responsibilities, and details of the club's welfare systems, please read the welfare policy:

The welfare officers are reachable in person at practice sessions, or by the welfare email, welfare@cubowmen.com. If you would prefer to speak to one of the officers over the other, for whatever reason, it is best to approach that officer in person.
